I see that DR_BUDDI has three versions, DR_BUDDI, DR_BUDDI_fordebugging, and DR_BUDDI_withoutGUI.
Which one of these should I be using?
Are there differences between DR_BUDDI and DR_BUDDI_withoutGUI?
I would say using DR_BUDDI_without_GUI is the easiest and it generally runs without any issues.
There are no differences in the processing steps or outputs generated between using DR_BUDDI or DR_BUDDI_withoutGUI.
The only difference is that DR_BUDDI when launched pops up a GUI with panels showing the registration progress. However, many systems do not have all the required libraries to support this feature and thus using DR_BUDDI_withoutGUI command is recommended.
You may certainly try launching DR_BUDDI and see if your system supports the display of DRBUDDI registration progress GUI.
